An island encapsulates a microcosm, isolated from the others, continuously looking for contact with firm ground, although not needing it, being totally independent from it.
“Isolation” is the first chapter of a long-term project, aimed at investigating the strict sense of the word “island” through photography. “Isolation” deals with isolation not as a mere sense of loneliness, but as the art of reinventing yourself, surviving and finding your own equilibrium in front of a tyrannical nature.
Un’ isola racchiude dentro di sé un microcosmo, isolato dagli altri, che cerca un continuo contatto con la terra ferma seppur non ha bisogno essendo essa indipendente.
“Isolation” è il primo capitolo di un progetto a lungo termine che vuole indagare il senso stretto della parola Isola attraverso lo sguardo fotografico.
